If skinhead gangs were attempting to kick nonwhites out of an area, I sincerely believe the UK authorities would find the will to address it. If jewish toughs were randomly attacking muslims who wandered into their neighborhood, I'm pretty sure there would be a demand for vigorous action. Somehowwhen it is muslkims committing outrages, there is always a lot of handwringing rathe rhtan action. Is it because of the financial clout of all the rich arab shiekhs and princes living in london? It can't be just typical PC concerns because the article said they attack gays, and everyone knows gays outrank muslims on the PC favoritism list.
haha i was thinking the same thing.. jeez martin. Unlike the US, the UK belongs to teh brits (and scots i guess). There is PLENTY you can do about it, like deporting them, not allowing them in, angry mob etc. I don't understand the push for diversity within the nations of Europe.. it already is diverse, each nation has its own people and culture. If you mix it all together + foreigners you're gonna get one fugly mutt race, which is the opposite of diverse.
Have you ever been to the U.K.? Why don't you go tour lovely Bradford. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_the_United_Kingdom "Islam has been present in the United Kingdom since its formation in 1707. Today it is the second largest religion in the country with results from the United Kingdom Census 2011 suggesting that by 2011 the total Muslim population had reached 2.7 million, 4.8% of the total population."
Years ago, I would have never said this, no less thought it, but it's SO true: if you want to destroy a city, county, state, or country, push for diversity. Won't be long, that place will become a shithole...
http://boston.com/news/globe/ideas/articles/2007/08/05/the_downside_of_diversity/ A Harvard political scientist finds that diversity hurts civic life. What happens when a liberal scholar unearths an inconvenient truth? IT HAS BECOME increasingly popular to speak of racial and ethnic diversity as a civic strength. From multicultural festivals to pronouncements from political leaders, the message is the same: our differences make us stronger. But a massive new study, based on detailed interviews of nearly 30,000 people across America, has concluded just the opposite. Harvard political scientist Robert Putnam -- famous for "Bowling Alone," his 2000 book on declining civic engagement -- has found that the greater the diversity in a community, the fewer people vote and the less they volunteer, the less they give to charity and work on community projects. In the most diverse communities, neighbors trust one another about half as much as they do in the most homogenous settings. The study, the largest ever on civic engagement in America, found that virtually all measures of civic health are lower in more diverse settings.
seems like common sense to me. People like visiting other cultures, you know like vacationing in another country or eating foreign foods, but people want to live among other people who are alike, not necessarily just color but religion, political beliefs, jobs, common interests basically. Diversity makes sense when it happens naturally. For example, you run an HFT shop and you want the very best programmers which ends up being 3 Indian dudes, 2 Asian chicks and some white boy. Just mandating that you need x amount of Indians, y amount of Asians, and so on, is clearly and obviously pointless. Forcing people to diversify their communities is a recipe for disaster. sheer stupidity.
You guys seem to have it a little backwards... You are undoubtedly aware of the British colonial past? What do you think that means? I'll tell ya. It means that the immigration has already happened and what we have here in the UK is what our French friends call a fait accompli. This is in contrast to other European countries, e.g. Germany, Sweden, Norway, etc. Given this backdrop, what would you suggest we do?
