  1. BigArrow,

Most of my clients are Libertarian. In fact in the last few months more and more have told me they are through supporting the Republican Ticket across the board.

If fact, my clients in China, Indonesia, Brazil, et.... are more Libertarian in nature.

The Republican Party has failed to live up to what they said they would do and have caved into the same old bullshit in DC.

here is something interesting, that points to the Future Of America.

Hence, why I have shifted my focus to the World Business Community and spend most of my time outside the US, for business Ventures.

"American public support for the free market economy has dropped sharply in the past year, and is now lower than in China, according to a GlobeScan poll released today.

The findings, drawn from 12,884 interviews across 25 countries, show that there has been a sharp fall in the number of Americans who think that the free market economy is the best economic system for the future.

When GlobeScan began tracking views in 2002, four in five Americans (80%) saw the free market as the best economic system for the future—the highest level of support among tracking countries. Support started to fall away in the following years and recovered slightly after the financial crisis in 2007/8, but has plummeted since 2009, falling 15 points in a year so that fewer than three in five (59%) now see free market capitalism as the best system for the future....

The results mean that a number of the world’s major emerging economies have now matched or overtaken the USA in their enthusiasm for the free market. The Chinese and Brazilians, 67 per cent of whom regard the free market system as the best on offer, are now more positive about capitalism than Americans.... ("Sharp Drop in American Enthusiasm for Free Market, Poll Shows", GlobeScan)

It seems, that the PARASITES in this country may be winning. This will effect your business BIGARROW. In fact, if we continue down this road it could very well destroy the very Business you created. And to think, you may be the cause of your own Destruction. Crazy isn't it?

  2. Odd stat in spite of the fact that more and more Americans have become tit-suckers.... meaning, in any such poll, greedy Socialistic sentiment more likely to be shown.

Besides, we haven't seen much "free market" in the USA for quite a while. Progressivism's cancer has been eating at us for 100 years.

  3. Big Arrow,

I agree with you and I detest BP as much as I do scum bag liberals.

Being part of the Oil world and have been on Gulf Platforms, keep in mind, 3500 Platforms in the Gulf. The one accident, all be it horrid and was, IMHO, criminal, is a very small % of "Accidents".

In fact there was a worse accident in the 80s, with PEMX in the Gulf, with Mexico. But of course, we do not hear about it.

BP in my opinion, should be band from Drilling in the US. I know first hand what had happen, as Halliburton is the same company that would Set our casings in all the Oil Wells i Funded. BP was warned by Hallliburton about their casing and that it needed to stronger Mixture, BP declined as they were behind Drilling Schedual. Second, TransAlantic's rig was not up to code. Their Blow Out proventer's were rotted by sea salt. Yet, the OBAMA Admin gave them a thumbs up on Safety 6 months before the accident.

BP has a history of accidents. In fact, two of my clients who manufacture cement for the oil industry and who are former engineers of BP, leaving to start their own Company, told my group that BP is a shitty Oil company and that they cut corners all the time.

We had a same situation with one of our Wells near the coast, south Texas. The drilling crew did not slow down the rotation of the drill bit at a key level, as they were behind schedual. They hit a gas pocket and the Rig Blew 30 tones of mud. The Rough Necks on the Rig hit the blow out Preventers and shut down the Rig. Investors lost 1 million on that hole but the guys saved the Rig and no accident. The blow out preventors worked. The good news, we knew there was Gas and Oil in the structure. The investors anti up another 1.5 million and we moved over 600 feet or so, and made a great well.

Point is, risk is everywhere and if the "equipment is working", accidents can be prevented.

But the PROGRESSIVES want to SHUT down drilling in the GULF because of BP and the fact is the PROGESSIVES gave them a Flying THUMBS UP on Safety 6 months before the accident.

So, I blame BP, Transatlantic and the SCUM BAG GOV.

As far as your business, seems you work with some nobel groups. Sounds like you deal a lot with Non-for profits. I have no idea on your Tax situation or your set up.

All I can tell you is that I now keep 90% of my "Salary" in my LLC. I pay out my self 65K a year, that's it. Of course, that is plenty as my cars, Loft live and works space are "business" expenditures and the LLC pays for them.

If OBAMA raises the Taxs on those who make 250k or more, the smart ones will do exactly what I do. Pay themselves out very little keep majority of their profits in the company and build up the assets of their companies and equity. The GOV will not get more money. What will happen, is the Middle Class will soon find themselves taxed next. And that is the Plan of the PROGRESSIVES, to enslave the Majority of the People, IE: Middle Class.

  4. EMG I just don't see things as black and white as you do, there are lots of gray areas concerning taxes, business law, social programs. And getting it right is where the challenge is at. I do t think even the most ardent capitalist would want to let someone die at an accident scene just because they couldn't afford what CPR would cost. This is a silly example I know, but soon we reach examples that are not silly or extreme, these areas are where we have the challenge of figuring out what we can and cannot do as a society.

Believe me, they are way ahead of you. They will find a way to tax that equity... There was a time when Aerospace was leaving California and lots of people wanted out because of taxes.. so a friend of mine had an apartment building, he was all good to go, going to sell it and move and retire.. they made up a tax that made it pretty muchly impossible for him to sell it... He did some weird thing and moved it from one escrow to another every 90 days or something like that to avoid paying the tax and he eternally hated the people that made up that tax but he was trapped, screwed, boxed in, it was over for the poor bastard and his plans...

  6. Horse Shit!

EMR is right on the money.

The shades of grey are simply lies liberal tell in order to hide their malfeasance and culpability in the decline of America's greatness. Both Repubtards and Democraps are guilty of sucking the state's tit which has in turn sucked (much of) America's genuine productive capacity dry.

  8. something like that to avoid paying the tax:
    ------------------------------------------------------------

Much like the Progressives in Atlas Shrugged who wanted to Impose a new Federal Tax on Colorado, that was far more than any other tax on any other state. They wanted to Tax Ellis Wyatt and his oil company for the cause of the "Greater Good".

I mean why should a "Rich State" stand by and allow the less well to do states suffer. It is the Moral Duty of the Parasites to Force, steal money from the Rich State of Colorado to give to the rest of the states.

Same concept that happen to your friend. Same concept mr OBAMA wants to do with his Tax Hike on 250k or more. Same Philosophy that the Parasites in this country live by. Same Philosophy of ROBIN HOOD and his merry band of thieves, same philosophy that is being taught in our Education system and same philosophy that the Public Traded Corporations believe in.

My friends, we are living in the very times that are wrote about in Atlas Shrugged. Did it take a 100 years to get here or a short 10 years, I do not know. All I know is that if you listen to the Politicians, if you listen to the scum bag liberals and Parasites and if you listen to half of the citizens of the US.........you can here the whispers of John Galt.

Question is, well there be a "New Atlantis"?

  10. No he isn't right. There isn't one right or wrong. There isn't one right way to figure a tax. It's stupid to think to think that. Even between the brainwashed right, Atlas Shrugged groopies, you guys wouldn't even be able to agree among yourselves how to set taxes, forgein policy, and social programs. You guys aren't as wise as you think you are. Come back in 20 years when you have a little experience. I promise you, you will be smarter then than you are now and when you look back you will realize you weren't as smart in your youth as you think you are.
