Brother Run, I really think you might want to reconsider some things. With all due respect, you do not know what you are talking about.
No point to argue with OP. What he wrote is very incorrect and plain stupid. The most of gun violence happens in US, where gun laws are the strictest. Chicago is a good example. Yes it's no wild west, not who know what the future will bring. Better have it and not needed, then need it and not have it. Btw, I totally think we should have background checks and gun shows should be a lot more controlled.
They would still be on the French Minitel bulletin board service. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minitel
Look brother J, I'm not against Europe or its people. I mean, hey, you guys gave us the BEATLES! (Of course, however, they had to come over here to "make it". If you don't believe me, just ask Paul McCartney next time you see him.) It is though, more than a bit irritating when Europe with all its problems wants to hammer on the USA. Seems like you good folks have forgotten a few VERY IMPORTANT FACTS.
Yeah, kiss my ass!! It should be illegal to be as stupid as you. Also, what in the hell is going on today. There are libtards popping up everywhere.
Engineers like me worked hard to make cars safe so that you could live long enough to say that! We also shoot droves of bad guys every year so there's that... Personally I would attack Big Pharma and all their hordes of corporate drone introvert doctors, they kill and maim people at a rate that would embarrass ISIS.
It doesn't feel good to be White in the USofA until one sorts out all the shitty behavior by race. Then you find that you are quite knowledgeable, your schools are fine, your crime rate is exemplary, your drug problem is miniscule, etc...
It is true, nearly every great British band had to migrate to the US to really make it. On the original point, in my experience many Brits do not have a true appreciation for libertarianism. It's this philosophy / ideology that should take precedence. It would be a shame if it were eroded any further in the US. In this respect citizens should be allowed to own weapons... and a whole load of other things that are currently prohibited.
