I have always found the subject to be intimidating but While reading "options, Futures, and other derivatives" Which was to learn more about options, I actually enjoyed learning the basics about trading commodities the most. I am looking for some other books on the subject as well as any other educational resources, youtube videos, articles, blogs, etc... Not necessarily strategy but also history, general mechanics, pros/cons to commodities vs stocks, etc...

Watch the market live or on replay take notes on what it does at certain area’s and build your strategy from there! As far as books or resources Al Brooks is boring but good and Haley on the measured moves is good!
There are many books available at the internet and you can find them on Google too. Also forums are the great medium to learn Futures trading.
