How about going third party? If neither party provides what people want why support the two big partys? Fearing supporting a third party will help the “Worst” side is understandable, but the way we are going has not been working. As always, Michael Moore remains twitchy about the polls and dems underestimating Trump. Plenty of entertainment value there. Unlike a lot of his lefty buddies, Moore has a working class Michigan background which allowed him to see how some of this lefty shiite plays out in the real world. It definitely helped him in 2016. Democrats are welcoming a sexual predator to give a key speech tonight. Sexual predator and assaulter Bill Clinton will speak in favor of the nomination of sexual predator and assaulter Joe Biden. Teddy Kennedy will not be there but he is there in spirit. The dems think that is a good thing.
3rd parties are just throwing your vote away and then letting the people you hate sitll get elected... Congress matters way more for change so rather than throw your vote away in the Presidential election, pick one and be more active in your local elections. Trump promised a wall mexico would pay for and that Clinton would be locked up and all sorts of shit right? His GOP Congress was not on board so none of that shit got done.
One could also take points you made but make the opposite argument: that one of the reasons why both parties get away with not keeping their campaign promises is because they know that their bases have other place to go even if they are unhappy with that. ie. there are not alternative parties.
