Why is a US downgrade negative for bitcoin? Shouldn't it be a positive? As for that whale, you're only seeing one wallet that could be part of 100s of wallets. It's probably a trading firm
Obvious manipulation. There is a possibility they orchestrate an exit pump, take out the late shorts and then massive candle down towards monday. Practically inescapable situation here. The market is heavy overbought and just a pinch of bearish news will easily trigger a cascade down. This is not rocket science.
bitcoin is a risk-off safe haven global monetary asset, of course the moody's downgrade of the US is very much positive news for bitcoin I'm only going along with orbit who's about to put his life savings into gold since he's anti bitcoin

Did something happen at 0930 EST that made BTC shoot higher? Maybe it's just a delayed response to the Moody's downgrade. All the major cryptos shot higher at that time as well.
