Yes but your dividend reinvestment strategy still relies on MSTR (ie. Bitcoin) going up over the long run? It's no good if Bitcoin crashes and stays down for years?

Ok, that's never happened before but Bitcoin has a very short history compared to the stock market and other asset classes.

TBH, I find a lot of people on this forum perplexing.

Scoffing at the multi-decade performance of the S&P500. Only get-rich-quick, thousands of % returns seem to gratify folks these days. Lots of greed, not so much fear, excess over-confidence, poor perceptions of risk, and a host of other cognitive biases.

If history is anything to go by (think pre-1929/dotcom investor mindset), this will not end well.

 

Get rich quick? That's not at all what I was saying. I was just saying don't not get rich slowly by using spy LOL.
