Blame student loans on.....

    All universities, without going into the debate of what "top 10" means. True, covid and Trump certainly had a major impact on the dramatic reduction of international students attending US universities and I expect a rebound in the years to come. But the downtrend since 2018 is clear.

    That said, from Forbes.com,
    Between 50% and 82% of the full-time graduate students in key technical fields at U.S. universities are international students.     This further validates the points I have been making earlier in this thread about the dearth of homegrown students due to the abysmal level of basic education in the US and the insidious populist rhetoric from the right that education is elitist and unnecessary to make a good living, as if an education's value was limited to income potential. The insidious part is all these sob's went to prep colleges and their kids attend prep colleges.

    My definition of basic is K to Bachelor's degree. Grad school and up is highly competitive.
