1) Know what strategies are best for low, medium, and high vix, and the drawbacks of each. 2) Combine strategies with some long or short stock to hedge delta. 3) Don't try to adjust butterfly spreads. 4) Remember time spreads are not good risk/reward, and use smaller position size (as they are more risky than at first might appear). 5) Preplan every possible scenario of price and vix movement. 6) Remember you are gambling, study money management (risk management) of gambling (poker, etc.). 7) Always have some OTM puts on in the major banks for tail risk hedging. 8) Be sure to know what risk of ruin is.
I scalp and so far, it'd been working well. Recently, lost quite a few big ones. Thank you for your suggestion, will follow.
Happens to everyone at some point. I've never understood scalping maybe because it's high win %, high risk and low reward. A few spikes can eat all the profit. Personally, I prefer low win% with very high reward. Why not try stocks with very high volume in options like AMZN, AAPL, BAC etc. I can give you a list.
Marrying into money, real money, trumps them all. I keep telling my kids (both son and daughter) that you can marry more money in 5 minutes than you can make in a lifetime. But your analysis is spot on, for overall happiness and financial freedom staying single is best option.
Prenup is also an option. There was recently a story of some NBA player, whos now retired, refusing to marry , unless his girl signs that thing, and that witch delayed till the last second, and then, on the special day, she brought a priest, who started preaching one on one to the guy : ,,life is not about money, leave it to the god" and similar bs. Guy refused to marry. NBA player : 1 Witch : 0
Prenup is a no-brainer. Look how much it cost King Bezos. And why are divorces are so expensive? Because they're worth it.
Don't know the details on their story, but didn't she had a stake in AMZN ? I know that some of the relatives did, they started with an initial capital of $50 000 or smth. The more stories i hear, the less im sure about that. Successful marrieges, the same % as successful traders at r/wbets. In the end, a personal choice for each one, so this is only, sorta worthless opinion of mine.
