As a fellow Canadian I want to know what happened to elbows up.
Our fearless leader folded like a cheap lawn chair.
That'll just set the tone for the ongoing negotiations.
    Very disappointed in our leadership.

That's true. But it doesn't look good.
Especially when white house spokesperson says Carney caved into Trump.
I don't think anyone thinks Carney is negotiating from a position of strength.

I would take what the whitehouse spokesperson says with a grain of salt.

    She’s known to outright lie.

Trade deals pffft. He just hasn't move on to his next big thing yet.

But he's doing his "best" to set Dems up for a big House & Senate mid-term win. Of course they'll likely blow the opportunity.

dems are weak pussies. Biden should have used the arguments set by Trump’s legal teams to engage seal team 6.

Just do it then. Threats is a sign of weakness.
OTOH, I see no real deals, real winning deals for Trump either.
And Vance's "Denmark is a bad ally" will resonate for generations.

Unless, the next Big War will remap the world so much that there will be no Canada, no Denmark, no Greenland and all this "This is not our war" BS is a prelude to it.

Anybody noticed how quickly the new Pope was elected?

Do you know any politician that doesn't?
Trump is a bully, the TACO nickname comes from all the times he has backed down.
It's hard to backdown from someone who runs away.
