Funny then that your most successful companies look to Canada to fill some of their best jobs. And plenty of new global trading partners. And if you really were looking to Canada for nothing, why are we your biggest export market ?

Canada is taking a strong position against Israeli Zionist excesses and Christian white supremacists are the other side of that coin.

It's been a huge year of tourism for Europeans vacationing in Canada instead of vacationing in the United States because Europeans find Canada's appeal as a safe country and welcoming destination with shared values.

The same is true for Asian tourism (increasing) in Canada due to concerns about Trump administration's policies, gun violence, border detainments, and tariff policies, leading them to avoid the U.S. as a travel destination.

In my years of living in Canada, I've seen more tourism in Canada especially near destinations with a lot of hotels and popular events...more so here in 2025 than any of the years before the Pandemic.

Tourism is increasing too for destinations in Europe by Europeans staying home in Europe for their vacations but it's not close to the increases in Canada. My travel agent in France, she's had a sudden spike in travel to Canada and citizens wanting to stay in Europe because of tariffs AND Trump's increasing rhetoric about using the U.S. military to patrol the streets of America...

Trump is painting the United States as a dangerous country to visit...contradicting commercials, political statements by Homeland Security, FBI, DOJ who say it's safer now that they're getting the most violent criminals off the streets.

My last visit to the states...I've seen more news media stories and commercials about VIOLENCE in the states and stories about military being used against protesters. There are more stories about ICE entering churches, schools, raids at grocery stores, hardware stores, jumping out of the back of trucks looking for people to detain/arrest...

Trump seems more outraged now and echoing violent crime stories across America in his White House news briefing as if he doesn't understand that its extremely difficult to be a law and order President when he's a convicted felon 34x on top of being convicted in civil court or rape...to many contradictions with DOGE destroying thousands of federal jobs with the help of 19 - 21 year olds that have no government experience...kid's still living at home with their parents.
Further, it doesn't help that many countries now have "travel advisory" and "warnings" about traveling to the United States...it's not a good look for the United States on top of the fact concerning a confusing U.S. proclamation message that restricts entry for foreign nationals by advising them to "register" with the U.S. government upon entering the United States...

The U.S. proclamation message was aimed at international students. Yep, new enrollments of international students to universities in the United States has also decreased to levels near what we saw during the Covid Pandemic. :banghead:

The lack of international students is expected to "increase" the cost of higher education for American citizens who plan to attend college because universities have already begun to pass the missing education funds from lost international students to American students.

There's an economic cost to the decline in tourism and international students in America. It will have a significant economic consequences for the United States, potentially costing billions of dollars and thousands of American jobs.

We've had three dips in enrollment of international students...a few years after 911, covid pandemic years and now Trump 2nd term after there was a brief recovery in the prior two recent years when the WHO declare the Pandemic was over.

Not surprisingly, very few wants to travel to the United States for vacation or education when the President of the United States keeps painting the United States full of rapists and thugs although he himself is a convicted felon 34x plus a civil court conviction as a rapist...a bad place that needs the U.S. military to patrol the streets whenever a car gets carjacked or someone from DOGE gets beaten...

He easily forgets about all the other cities, suburbs and rural communities in America who have had a recent mass shooting but no alarms about using the U.S. military to patrol those communities...not yet.
