Regardless of how you feel about Carly, I couldn't help but wonder where the threads in this forum are of the lefties criticizing various democratic candidates. Could someone point me to them?

  4. They are plenty critical. Of course you need to know that they consider being not far left enough to be a criticism.

  5. Actually, that's something to consider. Assuming that the left, as I expect them to, simply ignores all of the criminal activity committed by Clinton, she'll play the sexist card at every opportunity. Right or wrong, her supporters in the leftist media will play that up whenever they can. A female candidate disarms that argument to a large degree.
Carly isn't perfect, but she's much better than some are making her out to be. Frankly, none of those other guys make me all warm and fuzzy on every single issue, and they've all had past failures, just like she has. And I'll close with this. If it comes down to a Carly vs. Clinton election and the conservatives stay home just because she's not perfect, then they deserve the shit that's coming there way. Whoever vs Clinton, whoever has to win.

  6. On the issues, Carly is closer to Clinton than to say, Ted Cruz. We are cutting Trump some slack on his past positions because he has taken the most aggressive stand on immigration, and if we end up with one of the others, issues really won't matter because within a decade or so the entire country will look like California.

  7. That sounds great, except for one thing. None of Trumps immigration policies ever see the light of day. They never get past congress. His Anchor Baby ratification requires, as I'm sure you know, 2/3 of the congress and 3/4 of the states. That will never happen on the issue of immigration, so we get some watered down version of it at best.
Listen, I like the guys tough stance on immigration, but none of it gets past this group of cowards and idiots we have in congress. Does that mean we fold the tent and go home? No, but to think Trump and Trump alone will be the solution to our problems isn't realistic.

Anchor babies resulted from a Brennan footnote in a case and not everyone agrees that it can't be challenged. Trump is one of those people and he told Oreilly that he's got lawyers working on bringing a case. It may not take a const ammendment.

Of course that leaves us with the supreme court judges and the necessity of nominating one that isn't an ahole if the time comes.

  9. Whoa! That is a mouthful! Most people don't realize the DESASTROUS consequences of that would be.

(I live in Colorado. Sadly... already "Californicated". I've already moved to the simi-toolies. Hoping to not regret even more, "getting farther away from them Leftist bastards"... I'm loading up on more guns and ammo... hoping for the best. NOT the vision/hope I had for my life and country when I was younger.)

    :(
