Obviously, those investors lost tons of money.

Why did they listen to the celebrities?
They should have done their homework, and listened to the Ethereummax tokens chart.

  2. When you're in a position to influence people's decisions you should be held accountable when you get it wrong.

If you're a person that makes financial decisions (especially in the highly speculative crypto world) based on ads from people like Mayweather and Kardashian, then perhaps your money has found a more appropriate home.

Anyone dumb enough to get their investment decisions from Kim Kardashian is too stupid to be handling their own investment decisions in the first place. Also, there's something called personal responsibility. Blaming others for your own failures is weak.

With a great power comes great responsibility.

As you're responsible for your own choices.

That was such a blatant pump and dump scheme. At the beginning of June last year, after a massive surge, it lost 98% of its value in a few hours. Meanwhile Kardashian was hawking it on her Instagram.
What I don't understand is why these influencers and celebs don't have a better self-preservation instinct. You'd think a woman with her money would have someone to vet whatever she's pushing on her social media so she doesn't get sued after that.

Given the bloodbath in crypto and with the Fed not likely to re-ignite the boom for at least a few quarters, we're going to see much more of these buyers' remorse stories.
