Bruce....weather's supposed to be nice on Saturday so you shouldn't have a problem. I've been driving on Michelin pilot sports on 19" wheels without any problems. Btw....I'm in Glenview and I can give you a ride there....but what about on the way back? I'll probably be taking off sooner than others. Not sure I'm going yet though. -Fast
I could probably pass for over-21 considering I turn 21 in a few months, but you have to tell me for sure....no way am I driving out there if I'm not sure I can even get in Btw...how's the parking situation? Do they have secure parking or is it on the streets? Thanks -Fast
I will check on parking...but I know the neighborhood is fine--friendly as Mr. Rogers' own-- the odds of a break-in are about as likely as they for me---I have had one break-in the last 11 years years or so--and I have parked everywhere--the break-in was near north/downtown at a nice restaurant parking lot!! (the old Houston's parking lot--now gone). Re: getting in. You will get in. I just have to do some smiling with the owner/manager beforehand letting him know I am bringing him business, etc. and no one will card any of us, especially if we say we are all traders and look 20-something to 40-something years old....
OK...If you're positive you can get me in, I will try to be there around between 3:30 and 4. Let me know if you can't get me in though....it would REALLY suck to show up and not be let in  -Fast
Bruce. I can swing up and pick u up on the way in, that's not a problem. I do not know what time I will be going home, although I do have a hockey game in the burbs at 10PM.. So, chances are if you don't mind sticking around, I can give u a ride back as well.. If in the event I cannot, I'm sure we can find u a ride home.
Thanks, Fast and cwjcntr, That will be great, I'll pm you both my Phone#. Pilot sport is much better. I guess you've never had Bridgestone Potenza RE040, which is probably the worst tire you can put on a car in winter. To be fair, it is pretty good in summer. In 80 degree and up it can hang with $$$ tire like S03, but in weather even under 60, it's just no good. If it's 45 or lower, even dry with pavement, it WILL spin starting in second gear. A guy on an auto forum said that he took them off for winter. He hold one of it about shoulder high and dropped it. Thud, it didn't bounce at all. "It was like a stone," he said. I kinda like to get home earlier too, so Fast if you are going, I'd ride with you back. Bruce
I'm confused here. There are now two groups, or two meeting concepts, or two ??? Is the Hooters thing still happening on the 28th or is it now up on 3032 North Racine? I've only got two days to get this right. Chicago is a big city and traipsing all over it on Saturday (unless that was the day's goal) is not my idea of fun. Hooters is a simple walk for me. Racine means hop a cab which is no prob if that's where it is. I'll kill an hour or so with you guys. I'll be at the otb early so the day will prove to be quite an interesting one.
