    Who?
If a homeowner neglects their lawn year after year, each year more and more dandelions show up in the spring. When the house sells and the new owners want a beautiful lawn, they have to go in with some serious Roundup and start anew. The new owners didn't start that show, they are only fixing up years of neglect to bring the property value back up. And yeah, for a month or two, the yard is gonna look like crap while the Roundup does its thing.

China strikes back with 125% tariffs on U.S. goods as trade war intensifies
Chinese exports to the U.S. only account for about 3 percentage points of China’s total gross domestic product

Yeah of course China is not crying over the trade deficit because it's not having one!! It's having a trade surplus!! If China doesn't care about trade deficits, how about it has one for once in its life time? USA has been having trade deficits with China on the goods since the 1990's, for over thirty+ years!!! It's not losing at sports so how about China carries the trade deficit for once? With Trump levying the tariffs on China, it's giving China the opportunity to have a trade deficit and making it easier too. What's this crying of "bullying and humiliation"? LOL

China is like this ungrateful and whiny stepson who just takes and takes and takes and takes and then pouts and screams blue murder when the stepdad who's been carrying him for thirty+ years want to reduce the allowance by five dollars. LOL

Seriously US should just stop trading with China. What's with this fake pillow fight? LOL Divorce already!! LOL USA was perfectly fine before trading with China and will be perfectly fine after stopping to trade with China. It's China who was in extreme poverty before trading with the USA in the 1990's and now will be going back to it. GOOD RIDDANCE!!

I just feel so sorry for the Chinese people. They are the ones who's been held hostage by a government who doesn't give a shit about them and is only interested in saving face.

you are correct, the trade is effectively ended as of today. better brace for the storm for stock shortages.

“Even if the U.S. continues to impose higher tariffs, it will no longer make economic sense and will become a joke in the history of world economy,” the ministry said in a statement, according to a CNBC translation.
