6 Dead In Shooting At Orlando Business
The subject is a former “disgruntled employee” who shot five and then killed himself, authorities said.
    CRIME 06/05/2017 11:21 am ET

A man returned to his workplace months after being fired and shot five before turning his gun on himself, police said Monday.

John Robert Neumann Jr. entered Fiamma Incorporated, an Orlando, Florida, company that makes RV accessories, around 8:03 a.m. local time, Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said. The 45-year-old “disgruntled employee” was armed with a handgun and a “fairly large” hunting knife, according to the sheriff.

Neumann allegedly shot and killed three men and one woman. A fifth man later died of his injuries at a local hospital. Seven people were injured.

Police identified four of the five victims at a press conference Monday afternoon: Robert Snyder, 69; Brenda Montanez-Crespo, 44; Kevin Clark, 53; and Jeffrey Roberts, 57.

Demings said police believe Neumann, a U.S. Army veteran, had a “plan of attack” and specifically singled out his victims. Police have evidence that Neumann had a “negative relationship” with at least one of the victims.

Neumann was fired sometime in April of this year, Demings said. He had a criminal history “minor in nature,” including marijuana possession and a DUI. He reportedly battered a fellow Fiamma employee in 2014, Demings said, but this person was not present during Monday’s shooting.

“It appears that this incident has nothing to do with any global terror activities,” the sheriff said.

Orlando has been preparing to mark the one-year anniversary of the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, which took place at the city’s Pulse nightclub.

Why would I care what a cogenital liar, a birther and an all round scam artist who has paid millions in damages for defrauding people has to say on the issue of fake news? Should I also pay attention to Bernie Maddoff or Bill Cosby?

you are being very disingenuous with the definition of photo op.
Photo ops are staged events - like a on a campaign trail.
everyone should understand the event is an arranged and agreed upon photo op including the viewer.

a photo up should not be confused with news coverage of supposedly spontaneous demonstrations.

You may want to google 'photo op'

"A photo op (sometimes written as photo opp), short for photograph opportunity (photo opportunity), is an arranged opportunity to take a photograph of a politician, a celebrity, or a notable event."

Secondly, photo opportunities can be planned or spontaneous, it depends on the OPPORTUNITY. These protesters were around in the same area where the attacks happened which is how they landed there, the police cordoned them off but media outlets asked them to move past it so they could take pictures/videos. CNN wasn't the only media outlet there.

Now I'm confused, what's the difference between a congressional hearing and a photo op?

filming and reporting on a spontaneous demonstration is not a photo op.
why are you arguing such a stupid point.

cnn defended itself by saying they were letting the people through the cordoned off area. so let them show us the video of that organic demonstration.

I noticed you cut off your wikipedia definition and then sort of edited in your own point about opportunity.

Here is something you should have included... "The term has acquired a negative connotation, referring to a carefully planned pseudo-event, often masqueraded as news" (emphasis added)

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photo_op

A photo op (sometimes written as photo opp), short for photograph opportunity (photo opportunity), is an arranged opportunity to take a photograph of a politician, a celebrity, or a notable event.[1]

The term was coined by the administration of US President Richard Nixon. William Safire credited its coinage to Bruce Whelihan, an aide to Nixon Press Secretary Ron Ziegler. Ziegler would say Get 'em in for a picture, and Whelihan would dutifully announce to the White House press room, There will be a photo opportunity in the Oval Office.[2]

The term has acquired a negative connotation, referring to a carefully planned pseudo-event, often masqueraded as news.[3] It is associated with politicians who perform tasks such as planting trees, picking up litter, and visiting senior citizens, often during election cycles, with the intent of photographers catching the events on film, generating positive publicity.

Among nearly ritual photo ops are those when participants of a summit get out of their cars, shake hands or kiss, or sign a document.[1] Formal, planned photography sessions in the White House date back to the 1930s, when Franklin Roosevelt's press secretary advised photographers to avoid taking photos of the President in a wheelchair.[4]

Who told you that photo-ops are only for planned events? A photo opportunity cannot happen spontaneously? Can you look up the word opportunity once?

And your point is what? That it was not organic? What is your proof that it wasn't? Just that CNN took videos of them after they were let in by the police?
