Sorry, Tsing, you're going to have to change your thinking about Trump.

We've got a country to save!

Huge key demographic of adults 25-54 viewers 703,000

CNN took a rare ratings victory in prime time Wednesday night, with the network’s town hall featuring former President Donald Trump drawing 3.1 million viewers, according to early overnight Nielsen ratings. From 8 p.m. t0 9:15 p.m., CNN was the most-watched cable news network, more than doubling the ratings of Fox News (1.4 million viewers) and MSNBC (1.37 million viewers).

In the key demographic of adults 25-54, the group most valued by advertisers, CNN dominated the 8:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. ET time slot, with a total audience of 703,000 viewers. MSNBC was second with 155,000 viewers and Fox News was third with 125,000 viewers. At 9:00 ET, CNN dropped to 399,000 viewers but remained in first place, with Fox News in second with 194,000 viewers and MSNBC third with 155,000 viewers. At 10 p.m. ET CNN just barely edged out Fox News for first place with 238,000 viewers, followed by FNC (236,000 viewers) and MSNBC (142,000 viewers).

    It's all about the RATINGS.

Plus I will note having Donald Trump on for a Town Hall created significant buzz about CNN.

Under CNN's new leadership which is totally reorganizing around and firing people to boost the ratings --- we are likely to see more of this type of thing.

If he wasn't so self-serving and wanted to end the war between Russia & Ukraine...

He would have already visited the countries during this war to try to broker a peace deal considering he can end the war in one day. Imagine the amount of money he would save for America and other countries. He would gain voters crawling out from everywhere to help propel his push to the Republican nomination.

If I'm not mistaken, other former U.S. Presidents have done that in other wars (former Pres. Bush...made two visits to Afghanistan and four visits to Iraq...one of which to broker a peace deal...didn't work).

His character as a non-caring person will not allow him to do it because he's like a virus that infects its host (the GOP).

I am still voting for President Donald Trump. His record his 4 years is going to be pretty hard to match by anyone running against him. Do not discount the massive election cheating that is likely to happen. Democrats got a taste of massive election fraud and will not stop now. Republicans need to wake up and fight all these election fraud in the US courts wherever they find them. Atleast, make it a bit harder for Democrats to cheat.

  8. Ah, but you’re forgetting about “truthful hyperbole.”

Truth is Trump probably can’t even go to the bathroom by himself, let alone address geopolitics. He can’t even “negotiate” his wife to sleep in the same room with him, let alone the same bed. And that’s when they’re both under the same roof, which I understand is not often.

  10. I agree with CNN's decision. You can't cancel Trump. MSNBC execs are probably pissed they didn't do it first. Gave CNN free advertisement though. The problem is pretty much all politicians are lying shitheads and the media are mostly shills for them. They get the same corporate $$$ after all. Trump just takes it to the nth degree and is completely shameless about it so all they can argue is that he's a bigger lying shithead which isn't a very persuasive counterpoint to the average person. Give Trump credit, at least he looks authentic being a lying shithead since he's a complete sociopath and it comes so easy to him.
