Shes polling double digits in some polls and many in progressive media like her.The dem party think they can ignore their way past the low poll numbers and hatred for Biden among democrat voters into a 2024 win but they are headed toward a 2016 repeat imo.The fact that a nut like RFK and unserious candidate like Williamson is getting 30% in dem primary polls should really tell them something.

 

How did she do in 2020 primary? These primary polls mean nothing since there is no race, no incumbent president has participated in a primary debate since the first modern debate was held in 1948, even when presented with high-profile primary challengers. What makes Biden so special?

You simply don't break tradition, that itself would be capitalized by Republicans. Carter's fate was sealed after the Iran hostage rescue attempt failed.

In his defense, Nixon sabotaged the rescue negotiations (I posted an article that came out last yr on here).

Point blank, I have no respect in hiding behind "tradition", "customs", or "civil discourse" when it comes to trash social norms like women in the kitchen or gays in the closet. Why should I accept them for something I consider antidemocratic? The filibuster is "tradition". The parliamentarian is "tradition".

We shouldn't bury our heads in the sand when it comes to Biden's numbers. My generation isn't watching cable TV and those younger than me sure as hell aren't either. Unfiltered alt-media, much of it with no status quo hang-ups is where they're getting their news from, for better or worse. No amount of Johnny come lately Meidas Touch, Pod save America, or Brian Tyler Cohen cheerleading are going to convince these viewers that chickening out of debates is good because "tradition".

I may be wrong though, given Joe's declining cognition. Maybe "orange man bad" 4 yrs later is still a winning strategy for voters who were teens in '20
