I didn't ask about Biden, I asked why Clinton had high approval rating after passing the Mass Incarceration bill and the Welfare Reform bill?

That is more anti-minority than anything which is what you are accusing Biden of.

  4. No Labels has a much bigger chance of getting support than Cornell West. No Labels is basically being led by Joe Lieberman and corporate America looking for a "centrist" alternative. Basically, they want a corporate stooge. Manchin/Huntsman is the number one ticket I've seen floated. I think a third party candidate can win, but I'm not sure centrist politicians are the ticket for that. I think somebody more in the mold of Trump's personality (charismatic populist) is more likely to pull it off. Perhaps somebody like Mark Cuban? However, I don't think he's interested.

I don't think most thought the consequences of the bill would have been that bad, blacks either.

Clinton got a pass for welfare reform,as did Biden who supported it.Progs and Blacks are very forgiving people but we've reached the end of our ropes with Biden.

I doubt it.Biden is no different than Manchin.Even if they do take some votes from Biden it wont affect West getting the most Green Party votes ever as blacks nor progs will not vote for no labels.Just a double whammy for Biden.

They haven't said for sure they will run a candidate.West is more likely to make a no labels candidate run though imo as it takes some blame off them for Bidens loss.

  7. I think Manchin could pull in more votes than West. He would be seen as more of a credible alternative to those concerned with Biden's age more than anything. I think both would ultimately hurt Biden. I edited my above post to describe the type of candidate that I think could win as a third party candidate. Centrism sounds good to many. However, I'm pretty sure corporatism disguised as centrism won't win.

Manchin would take just as many votes from the republican imo, never Trumpers would see him as a Trump alternative.Democrats hate him.

Blacks won't vote for Biden? He will get 90%+ votes like any Democrat.

Meanwhile pro-Russia Green Party will do their best to put pro-Russia Trump in WH.

With an approval rating in the 50s with blacks I doubt he gets 90%+. More importantly Biden will have the lowest black voter turnout of any democrat presidential nominee.West will also take some black votes.

Progs will once again let democrats know you fuck us or put up a republican lite candidate they will vote Green or stay home.
