So I've come to the conclusion that our village idiots here are actually disguised agents trying to encourage wearing masks and taking COVID seriously. How can that be? Let's assume that there are some intelligent, well meaning people who are on the fence about this. They decide they'll listen to both sides of the issue and make a decision. On the one hand they hear some well reasoned arguments for. Maybe not quite enough to push them to that side. On the other hand, they hear a couple of people who are doing their best to appear as not only complete morons but also pathologically unable to confront any fact that is inconvenient to their narrative. No-one wants to be associated with idiocy at this level and scale, so reading their posts pushes them clearly into the "wear a mask and take this seriously" camp. It's the only rational explanation, because clearly no-one can really be as obtuse as those guys. So, mission accomplished. Thanks @Turveyd and @Buy1Sell2, that was a well executed false flag operation for sure. No-one is doing a better job than you to convince people to take COVID seriously and wear a mask, well done!
