http://www.cbsnews.com/sections/i_video/main500251.shtml?channel=60Sunday part of it but most of that clip didn't make the show.
I really don't think he knows what the heck he is talking about. When he started talking about Greenspan, I was cringing. I can see it in his eyes that he knows he's full of bologna. He really doesn't inspire confidence when he speaks in my opinion. He's certainly done well for himself for someone that has as little knowledge as he does.
I respectfully disagree. It was not a good piece at all. It was short on any sort of depth whatsoever. Looking at one of his associates and murmuring several times something about "it was a buyprogram . . ." showed absolutely nothing. Notice that the real traders in the business don't give interviews. You'll never see Stevie Cohen, Stanley Druckenmiller, or Steve Okin on "60 Minutes". There is a good reason for that.
The piece wasn't on trading or "real traders" it was on Jim Cramer. What do you expect a documentary...they have 10 min on the back end of the program to fill..... If they put Cohen, Drukenmiller or Okin on then 99% of the viewing audience would likely turn the channel. My next door neighbor even knows who Cramer is and she's probably 75-80. (isn't that 60 min's target audience?) Anyway, I enjoyed it.
You imagine walking into your hedge fund and saying "Its yours" Wow. I agree with his dad on that certain aspect.
