Does the economic term 'marginal utility' apply here?

It sort of like a big plate of fresh hot chocolate chip cookies in front of you. The first one tastes damn good. The second one tastes great too. The third one's good, the fourth's just alright, but by the seventh, well.........you know what I mean.

 

That's why you gotta eat them all at the same time!
