Man, that was fast. Wish all developers were this fast. LOL

    Appreciate the compliment.

I’ve been a developer for a long time, and honestly, with the way AI and LLMs have evolved, it feels like the early 2000s again when a one-person shop could build something substantial and scale it quickly. AI has probably 10x'd my capacity at this point, and it really evens the playing field. I can focus on the bigger picture while it helps me knock out tasks that would’ve taken way more time before. It's a game-changer for getting things done fast and efficiently.

Excited to keep the momentum going!

    Ask and ye shall receive!!!

We're excited to announce that simul8or now provides 5 years of historical data for ALL tickers, with no more limits on simulations. Whether you're backtesting strategies or exploring new stocks, this update gives you more flexibility and access to the data you need.

Give it a try, and feel free to share your thoughts!

That's wonderful. I'm waiting for the day when LLMs can be utilized in realtime to make trading predictions. Do you think that will become a reality anytime soon, or is it already here?

Some thoughts on line drawing tool:

    1) Oops, I drew that line wrong. I want to delete it and draw again. But wait, right-clicking and choosing "delete lines" erases everything. But I only want to erase THIS trendline.

    2) It's pretty easy to draw diagonal lines but not so easy to draw horizontal lines. I wish you would offer the SHIFT option like in MS Paint, where pressing SHIFT as you draw will make the lines either vertical or horizontal.

    3) The line width could be a little thicker and the color brighter. I can hardly see without squinting.

    4) Drawing lines is pretty meaningless unless you're able to see enough data on the chart. Hence, we should be able to scroll forward and backward on the chart.

And a few more unrelated observations:

    5) Are those moving averages in the bottom plot (below the volume)? Shouldn't they be plotted along with prices?

    6) Regarding the arrow button next to the drawing button. While this allows us to skip forward by 1 minute, that's not the same as upping the playback speed at, say, 10x. I much prefer to speed up the playback than to just jump forward by 1 minute. A lot of things can happen during those 1 minute intervals, which you might not know if you haphazardly skip through.

    7) Not sure if this is just me, but the simulator stops randomly at times (nothing happens) and there would be missing candles.

Thanks for the feedback.. Items 1-3 .. all good ideas! - will add these in time. As previously stated its the first version of the line drawing tool.

    4. Even with fast forward and zoom out you cant see enough? But i do get it ... panning forward/backward is the desired behavior. will add this in time.

    5. That's MACD almost always a seperate chart.

    6. Easy to add. Can add this soon.

    7. That was the chart properly handing a volatility halt :)

I've introduced Challenge Mode to add a fresh layer of difficulty for traders who want to rely more on instinct and technicals rather than having the advantage of knowing the ticker or date. It's meant to simulate real-time decision-making without extra clues.

We’ve also updated the leaderboard to focus on Challenge Mode results, so traders who excel in this tougher environment can be recognized. We’re constantly refining things, and your input is always welcome as we continue to improve. I always appreciate your feedback.
