Dear traders, how do you usually spend your weekends?

  1. the funny thing about fishing

I'd get in a place where there was just no mental way out of it and think "I need to get away."

I'll go fishing and just think about it.

As soon as that line hits the water, forget about quiet contemplation. "I think they're hittting high! No, they are under the tree! They want something small. They want something moving!" and after you catch your limit you ask......"What was that again I came out here to think about?"

To avoid that...you have to just drink all week long!

I use a mini cycle myself which fits under the desk or can be moved if you want to watch tv etc.

You rather do housework on your own ?

One of the reasons I got into trading was to be able to hire gardener, pool guy, I can't stand that type of work, rather cook, do sports etc. Obviously everyone is different, gotta do what makes you happy while being productive.

    Housework - I don't like..., but do
    Yard work - don't mind a bit

    Nor....

    Changing oil
    Rebuilding motors
    Iron / metal work..., welding
Woodworking (finally figured out how to build a decent looking adirondack chair)
    Maintaining / rebuilding / fab-ing - the "toys"
    Fish - I clean / filet what I catch
Deer - I gut / skin / process what I kill (nothing better than old a cold morning - sticking your cold / wet hands inside a warm cavity)
    Firewood - I cut / split / stack
    Fence - build / repair
Shop / sheds - I built from foundation to roof - including the electrical & plumbing
The pets - I wash / groom (damn cat hates water - my arms are proof of that)
Trash - yup I haul that shit out
Or..., take on any myriad of other things

Beside - I don't have a pool - lake just a hop skip and jump away..., and..., I like growing vegetables (gardening) - they taste way better than store bought (including whole food's produce)

Just cause I have money - I still must wipe my own butt - so doing anything south of that is gravy imho

The physical simply offsets the mental - makes for a balanced me

    ==========================

I will only pay other's - to do that..., which I am physically incapable of..., or..., not qualified

Whether I like / enjoy it - has absolutely no bearing
