Luckily the bus driver didn't panic via reacting in a way to cause a chain reaction of car crashes that could have possibly injure / caused the death of someone on the freeway. Seems to me the bus may have been a decoy...something that's been used before by politicians in elections, music stars, movie stars, military leaders during Wartime and other celebrities. It's done by those to draw attention away from the real person / group via taking the risks on that person's behalf. This has been done also by military leaders. My favourite stories are the ones done by Winston Churchill, Lady Gaga, Robin Williams, George W. Bush...all of whom had a doppelganger. In fact, rock stars are well known to send out a decoy bus when they are on tour when real group slips out the back sort'uv speak. Reminder, just last week there was rumours about Melanie Trump using a doppelganger. I don't think its a big deal because I've seen the same thing many times on the freeway on the way to a tailgate party...when driving to big basketball games, football games and hockey games...people waving their support flags while harassing others waving the flag of their teams from their vehicles. wrbtrader

Yeh but Joe Biden or Kamala were not on that bus, were they? This was just a campaign bus with campaign staff grunts and hoi polloi. Rock stars and military leaders are not sending out body doubles for their housekeepers. Biden and Kamala are under secret service protection during the campaign and they would have rightfully established and enforced a safety zone around the candidates if they were on the bus. Just a bunch of Trump supporters horsing around. It's all good. Campaigns are not designed to be tidy and there are lots of rough and goofy interactions. I mean what is the alternative- to hide in your basement? Ooops. Joe, that was not directed at you. I promise.
Just some fun and horsing around. Some unsafe moves there but this can happen. You go skiing and someone fucks up and plows into you. Dust yourself off and continue on with your day. Stop trying to pussify the whole world. The Trumpers there most likely are good people and the Bidenistas on the bus are most likely good people.
Rock stars have tours decoys (pretend its 15 people) to get on a decoy tour bus while the actual tour group leave on another bus. Thus, I don't think Biden or Harris needed to be there...just their campaign staff. Simply, you can send out your fake (decoy) tour group or use a doppelganger of yourself. Its been done before in Politics, wouldn't be surprise if such is already occurring in this heated Presidential election. Actually, if it did not happen...I would be very surprise.
