Classes on reading and writing are often good. The ones I've taken have taught me that there's nothing wrong with your question. So, I think your confusion may be due to misunderstanding the idea that the div is implicitly part of the option but explicitly part of the underlying. Its. "It" is a pronoun, sure, "it's" is a contraction. Even in BF Wisco. Determiners don't use an apostrophe and conveniently it helps to differentiate from the contraction. After "it is" first post? Oh, the irony.
