Do any Hillary supporters care about what Wikileaks has shown?

  1. Typical of the blind hate and anger of the hard left, ready to resort to violence on a moment's notice if they have a mob of thugs to back them up.

I don't know enough about Johnson to give him a far hearing. Tell us what you like about his positions. I will listen.

This has been a divisive and reckless campaign. Not good for any of us. Trump started out on the wrong foot by insulting his colleagues. It's been downhill since. You've made an attempt to be objective, I appreciate that, even when I don't agree.

  5. You sound like Comey citing a litany of reasons to prosecute, or in your case not support, and then astonishingly shrugging your shoulders and falling right in line behind her. Clinton is the epitome, the poster child for everything wrong with our government. Sanders, whatever one thinks of his ideology, was demanding dramatic changes. The DNC and their media minions decided to rig a already flawed system and anoint Hillary. You cannot possibly want the change Sanders was advocating and then support such a status quo, business as usualy hack like Clinton and have any real credibility.

    so clear. so correct.
If I thought sanders could have enacted real leftist reform, I might have voted for him. because we can't get anything good at of the right because the establishment politicians are not really giving us any of the things we vote for.

But... we don't get any of the good from the left but the taxes and regulation and big restrictive govt.

Imagine if we removed health care from businesses (their profits would boom and they could expand and hire and invest) and we had single payer for base coverage with vouchers and options to buy better plans.

This is just an example of how the left and the right could work together for a better country for its citizens.

I guess I would be one of those half-heartedly supporting her. And for the reason you have nicely pointed out. She does represent, to many of us anyway, business as usual when we were hoping for meaningful change. And as we learned, Sanders was not treated fairly by the DNC. Clinton has to bear some responsibility for that. She did however modify her positions somewhat in obvious response to the successes of the Sanders campaign. It looks like we will both get to see if there is any sincerity in her as it appears highly likely she will be in charge come next January.

  9. I'll be honest with you. I think our country is on the edge here. Forget this election, I'm talking about the dangerous trend of suppression of free speech and the free thought behind it. Sadly, our universities are the biggest hotbeds of such censorship, so much so that repression and punishment of conservative ideas is a core value for many of them.

While the media attempt to paint Trump as a dangerous menace to dissent, we all know that it is the progressives who use violence as a political tactic. Who in their right mind would put a Trump sticker on their car, knowing that some college punk might feel justified in vandalizing your car? After all, Trump is Hitler. Punks terrorized an older woman who had the temerity to have a Trump yard sign, even spray painting her house.

Social media have shown themselves to be more concerned about suppressing speech they disagree with than ethics or intellectual integrity. After all, when your peers and big media support you, what's the problem?

We are on a course that does not end well.

  10. Romney 2011 :

"When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do?..." Romney proudly told a cheering crowd of supporters, to explain why he has flip-flopped on so many positions over the years.
