They own quite a bit of real estate too. Several years back that mantra pulled Macys out of the dumps for awhile. It was around $5 at the time, I think it went to around $30. But they own(ed) better properties than KSS. Still, KSS has at least $5B in RE.
I bought M around $6 and sold it around $24 about five years ago. For KSS I’m not playing this game. If it comes to normal I will buy. For now it becomes reddits stock
talking about dividends being cut. Talking about it selling off first. Talking about how terrible the management is. did you ever take a research paper writing course? you state your conclusion clearly first. Then you share your supporting information and your caveats. Not caveats first, then supporting information, then conclusion with more caveats after.
SHLD talked about selling the RE and becoming the tenant. Nobody wanted it but that was the value gigi. Just lie in wait for any ticker you've ever mentioned to rally. Like a sleeper cell to be activated. "The woods are lovely dark and deep, but I have miles to go before I sleep" Shit ticker rallies! Activate! And the dude acts like he won the Tennessee lottery.
No s..t it’s POS as of now. However M was even in much worse condition on about 2021. I bought it and was more than happy to sell later. For now, the question should I buy KSS to see its prospective growth? My view - it’s not time yet, however it’s still a chance KSS to revert. Do you think it may happen or not ?
grand fade from 21 to 14 In 2015 Macy's stock reached$50+. KSS has at least $5B in RE. How much debt on the property? Long term or short term/ How does brick and mortar store survive theft and minimum wage increases etc., etc.
