What an absurd article! The actual poll dealt with if the individual supports the President using Executive Orders - even when they are used for something good. The individuals who do not support Executive Orders under any circumstances -- of course did not support them for freeing slaves, desegregating the military, interning Japanese Americans during World War II, and deferring deportation for some unauthorized immigrants. It is not that the respondents are against freeing the slaves, they are against Executive Orders. These individuals believe the President should have gone through Congress for all of these actions.
