There may be a much cheaper solution...very natural in the summer.

If true, we should see a dramatic drop in the infection/death numbers in the summer this year.

Nature has a way of cleansing itself.

Didn't you read the news? China said they couldn't find enough patients to do the two clinical trials so it was terminated last month. My understanding is each trial was to recruit about 300 patients.

What about places in the Southern hemisphere? Singapore, Thailand... where there are perpetual summer? Singapore just instituted a lockdown.

Their season temperature and exposure to the Sun does change too ???

    76°F to 89°F

Not sure how much daylight time changes with those temperatures nor the humidity level with those temperatures. Typically most of the sun is between March - October.

Regardless to the heat and humidity...if the population aren't trying to social distance...infection will rise and then lockdowns will occur.

And then it comes back in the winter. Like Influenza-A. And we go through the same routine. Layoffs, unemployment, businesses failing. Remember, vaccine is 12-18 months away! Wheeeee!

The thesis was that summer will kill the coronavirus pandemic.

Singapore, Indonesia, Southern India, Thailand, Central America are all near the equator, not much seasonal changes. In fact in Singapore, practically all year round it has the same temperature.

Yes, Singapore has high temperature as well as high humidity year round. Last I checked although they introduced a stricter lockdown recently the numbers were much better than in Western Europe or the US. Several East and South East Asian countries have gone ballistic with the virus fear while having low/insignificant number of cases btw
Ecuador , Gayaquil at least, has a similar weather and seems hit pretty hard (recent number of deaths in the province are way out of proportion with the average numbers, despite moderately low declared cases, but testing seems scarce there)
Here we´ve had 3 weeks of ugly weather (twice snow at least during the last week of March, plenty of rain and storms since than but with slightly warmer weather), hoping for sun and higher temperatures will show up soon, and cases don´t skyrocket after they start to let people out of their house arrest.

UK news last week, starting trials here in special cases what ever that means. ( nhs and rich people )

Not bad news, 65% do better, but if you've been on for 5days and not getting better than likely won't help you.

Better than nothing, 30,000 5 day doses to the UK please.

how much for 30K doses, second thoughts maybe not.
