i use had a cross reference between multiple sources(earnings.com and briefing included) on earnings reports(because i don't want to trade those stocks)
and during earning season it wasn't uncommon to see stock earnings reported on same day at let say 9:25 am EST. and only source who actually did post it was earnings.com. rest of the sources is far far behind..that was my experience. same on upgrades/downgrades on briefing and let say thefly. briefing was always late, regardless to your level of subscription.

this is why i'm curious, why briefing is number one for you

  2. I'm also looking for a new source of Earnings data. I am considering the following but have not had time to give them a thorough review:

    http://www.earningswhispers.com/

    http://www.streetinsider.com/

    http://www.theflyonthewall.com/

    http://www.zacks.com/earnings

I'm with you Bob111; I don't trade them ... I want to reliably avoid them!

At one time, many years ago, I stuck a few bucks into a trading pool that ran a strategy based on Earnings. It was a really simple strategy and I couldn't believe that it actually worked. It was very profitable for about 18 months (up over 100%) but then gave all the gains back over the next year. I withdrew my money at about the break even point but some of the more stubborn participates suffered almost a complete loss.

There seemingly was a paradigm shift after the 08-9 credit bust, things really changed. There was someone on ET a while back selling a strategy based on earnings, I make the assumption that it stopped working and he was looking for fools. Earnings strategies are still most definitely interesting though.

Another in PHP, now for Briefing.com Calendar with auto login/logout to website.

This script is old - I don`t test it now if it still works. U need to modify it for your own purpose.
