In my opinion the best song by Bigod 20 was their first EP in 1988 America. Their 1988 EP Body & Energize is very good too. I remember the Techno club I used to go to Body To Body was very popular. That was probably more Dance/Techno.

Their 1990 EP The Bog was probably more Industrial.

Talla 2XLC (aka Andreas Tomalla) & Ralf Heinrich (aka Ra/Hen) were the true pioneers of modern Techno. They bridged the Kraftwerk to Industrial to Techno divide. That was the early days of EBM. Talla 2XLC's most popular group was Moskwa TV in the early 1980s. He was also the front man for Two of China, Axodry & Bigod 20. He was part of numerous industrial & techno groups.

And while we're on the subject of 80s music, here are two tracks I still enjoy listening to.

These 2 tracks were very popular when I was an occasional fill in for my friend who was a DJ at KALX (UC Berkeley college radio) in the late 1980s.

The Great Commandment was very popular when I was a mobile DJ for a lot of the university clubs in college. I used to be the DJ for a lot of the Asian clubs at UCB and they loved European dance & Techno. I always thought was strange since Japanese & Koreans mainly listened to British Synthpop (aka Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys & New Order).

Army of Lovers were very good. They had a lot of layers of different types of music. They had an operatic feel to them. Synthpop, Gothic & some industrial with dance overlays.
