Economics about mass shooting

Discussion in 'Politics' started by OddTrader, Oct 6, 2017.

  1. 1. The American police can't handle a gang like MS-13, who's character was created in large part by the US' "advisors" in El-Salvador/Guatemala/Honduras continuing to pursue the failed Vietnam strategy like zombies.

The police who can't outmaneuver a gang who does things like this:
L.A. Gang Member Gold Plates Own Genitals To Death

    2. The NRA have the righty white idiots tied in a knot with a mighty logical trap:
    1. Defending themselves from the tyrannical federal government's soldiers.
    2. Devotional respect the flag and the soldier heroes of the same federal government.

Thick chickenshit for brains the lot.

Eight of four hundred and thirty five, 8 of 435! incumbents in 2016 lost their congress jobs. You might want to look at that and the implications of that BONECRUSHER?

  2. One day, some people might think carrying a micro-size nuclear bomb would be still OK, because of this and that. LOL

Gun fanatics tend to distract the discussion by saying "if you take legal guns away, the criminals are going to kill everyone!". Ignoring the fact that 70% of gun massacres are committed with LEGALLY obtained guns.

There's a difference between two gangbangers shooting at each other. They both knew what they were getting into and they wouldn't live for very long anyway.

Big difference compared to some people just enjoying some music and the shooter being a complete stranger, completely unprovoked.

Please educate yourself before you make yourself look like a complete jackass. While there is certainly gang on gang violence in big cities like Chicago, many of the victims are children who have no gang affiliation whatsoever. Some are as young as 2 or 3.

Here are the statistics on Chicago, YTD on a website with a name that you should appreciate:

    And this is just Chicago.

    Here is Pittsburgh:

I did not say all gun crime but gun massacres (reading is difficult, eh?) and it's actually 80%(!). I bet you have a long list of rebuttals now and none make any sense or are you just going to change the topic and ignore this FACT?

You can pour of the CDC (Center for Disease Control), they track this. Most firearm deaths, contrary to popular belief, are not in the street, they are right in the home : firearm suicides, domestic violence, & accidental shootings account for the majority yet they rarely make the 6:00 news, all we hear about are the shootouts in the inter -cities by gangs or thugs.
