Looks like us trolls be challenged by a real trader. He sounds like he is feeling cocky. Perhaps he won “patron of the year” at a local gay bar. To preserve our troll dignity, we have to put a stop to these taunts. The question is, how are we going to come up with $200 each on such short notice? I say $200 because any less and chances of a blowup will be too high. I say each because we have better odds of taking NQurious down with more accounts competing against him. Although hard work and self sacrifice will be required on our part, the results would be well worth it. Think of the glory we would have by showing NQurious the door. I offer the following suggestions to raise money: 1. Reduce spending of our disability checks on “pain relievers”. 2. Collect aluminum cans for recycling and deposit bottles for refunds. Hint: Get up real early in morning (Tough, I know) and raid recycling bins before the truck arrives. Make sure the wheels on our shopping carts are in good condition before starting. 3. Offer “special services” to homeless people for quarters. Where there is a will, there is a way. This may be our one and only chance to keep real traders from making us look bad here on ET.
The real value in a trading challenge for me, and others I would imagine, would be in the posting of trades and post mortem review of selected significant trades. Not so much for showing one’s edge, rather to cut down on those “What was I thinking trades” and identifying trading leaks.
I gotcha ... and certainly there is no need nor reason to debate the basis on which you'd find value in such an exercise. But I assume the guru's who are so good at this game that they can't be bothered discussing trading in a trading journal on a trading forum but have all the time in the world to hurl insults must be the cream of the crop, and therefore the value of this challenge to me is to see whether I can keep up with their concealed and yet to be revealed trading skills. I only hope I am not embarrassed too badly when @mbondy posts his fabulous ES gains. He is likely the real ringer in this whole thing. He'll probably run his $200 to $200k in June alone
is there any other instrument besides ES that has lots of momentum moves daily. I am finding ES moves too slow for my scalping needs especially when a trend is set. Even though green i am starting to lose interest scalping the ES due to the slow moves. Need more excitement. Or is it gonna pick up soon the pace. I like the huge momentum moves that we had back on the night when our President got elected.
