Hey, would you mind answering a question? With AMP I am seeing corrections (a.k.a synchronizations) posted to the account minutes and even hours after ES trades were closed. In addition commissions/fees are levied later in the day or at night. Thus, upon closing my positions I never know what the correct (most up-to-date) balance is and can't plan subsequent trades properly. Do you know of any futures brokers in the US where the balance is always available in realtime and you don't have to worry about the effect of delayed corrections and commissions?
Sorry, not true. I am with AMP right now, using CQG from tradingview as well as MT5. I am seeing wild balance swings. For example the difference between my balance on Friday night and Saturday morning was $1600. I find these delayed adjustments very unsettling. Certainly not realtime for me.
I think you should rec their daily statement to cash balance, the balance difference is likely a OTE, open trade equity, an unrealized gain.
Yes, I know what you are saying. There is really something funky that goes on in the settlement periods in the CQG stream. I also have AMP with CGQ, and have MT5. I do not recall the exact windows that I saw it with MT5, as it was years ago. but there are some very curious "transactions" that show up in whatever window it was I was looking at. Rapid-fire balance changes that could show up or down 10 grand, 100 grand, a million, in the blink of an eye, and reverse itself as quickly. As if the settlement processes were "leapfrogging" across the userbase and showing up as temporary transaction in that log. The actual cash balance in the account was never affected. Don't worry about it.
Long 1 March 22 at 4602 at open, let’s see how far it can go for the next two to three days. will scale back my volume until there is a new consensus on the street. Last month made 65% cash return, don’t want to lose it this month.
1st trading day of November today. Positive net on the last 4 out of 5 years. Other supporting parameters suggests an Up Day as long as 4600/4595 holds. Might see a pullback on the Open and we might not. Rug pull below 90.
