    lots of pros and cons...

    cons:
    traffic is horrible
large areas that are not particularly nice or attractive

    pros:
    the weather
    south beach
mid beach (all of collins all the way to aventura is going to be real swank when the construction is done, check back in 5-10 years)
    the weather

just stick to what you like

and you gotta love all the gloom articles about the real estate, we have plenty left, maybe a little flat time, but prices will continue to rise

with the increase in telecommuting I believe more and more people will opt to live and work down here

Pros to add: Fishing, SHAQ DADDY, the marlins, scuba diving...

New york is overrated...expensive, crowded and to top it off you have the worst highest paid baseball team in MLB....:D

  7. Miami Beach is great for vacation or if you're well-connected and/or rich. It's a party paradise. But that's all it is. No real businesses down there and the people are about as unprofessional and flaky as they come.
