You are totally clueless as per usual. Not only is Canada handling Covid far better then the US by a factor of 3+, our economy has recovered quicker then the US this year. You can try to cast dispersions on Canada, but whatever you say, it's at least three times worse in the US. I work in the fastest growing IT city in North America. Plenty to do during a pandemic. Perhaps there isn't much to do where you live in the US.
No. That's not quite right--See below article from March U.S. health officials say Americans shouldn’t wear face masks to prevent coronavirus — here are 3 other reasons not to wear them https://www.marketwatch.com/story/t...r-facemasks-because-of-coronavirus-2020-01-30 Though health officials have warned Americans to prepare for the spread of the novel coronavirus in the U.S., people shouldn’t wear face masks to prevent the spread of the infectious illness, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. surgeon general
Here's what I said, 'The experts initially said, "masks, hygiene, distance, etc."' Take note of the word, "initially." Even so, you just ignored the crux of the post.
I did take note of the word initially. That's why you were not correct. ---Initially experts said no masks.
Still wrong. https://www.foxnews.com/health/do-surgical-masks-protect-against-coronavirus Published January 24 ... "That said, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is currently recommending anyone infected with the novel coronavirus or being tested for it to wear a surgical mask when in public." ...
What covid vaccines - developed in Canada- are out there right now being distributed? Not talking about American or joint British or whatever vaccines. I would like to examine the Canadian vaccines in more detail. Not some plant based vaccine in the pipeline in Quebec. I mean being distributed in Canada right now.
Tldr; Experts said all wear masks in March. First state mandate to wear masks in April. @Buy1Sell2 So I'll continue to wait for @CaptainObvious or his representative to explain exactly what is this "power" that Dems are grabbing, and how the Dems politicized masks. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Face_...owards_using_masks_to_reduce_spread_by_wearer "In late-March 2020, some government officials began to focus on the wearing of masks to help prevent transmission of COVID-19 as opposed to protecting the wearer; Commissioner of Food and Drugs Scott Gottlieb stated in a report that face masks would be "most effective" at slowing its spread if widely used (citing Hong Kong and South Korea as examples), as "they may help prevent people who are asymptomatically infected from transmitting the disease unknowingly".[23] On March 30, Director of the CDC Robert R. Redfield stated that the organization was evaluating data regarding use of masks by the general public. The next day, President Donald Trump suggested in a White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing that scarves or "something else" could be worn as face coverings. COVID-19 response coordinator Deborah Birx stated that the task force was discussing the addition of face masks to its guidance.[23] On April 3, 2020, the CDC issued guidance recommending that non-medical face coverings be worn in public when social distancing is difficult to maintain, such as at grocery stores and pharmacies, and especially in areas with significant amounts of community transmission.[28][29] The CDC published tutorials on making non-medical face masks, including a design only requiring a t-shirt and rubber bands, and no sewing.[1][23]" https://bestlifeonline.com/first-states-mandate-masks/ "In response to a spiking number of coronavirus cases, many states have begun mandating face masks in public spaces. But while face masks are now required in 16 states, some states were ahead of the curve, putting laws on the books as early as the beginning of April. We're checking in on the five states who were quick to mandate face coverings to see where their coronavirus numbers currently stand."
