Funniest thing ever seen at a prop firm

  1. Our Worldco office back in 2001 was interesting. One of the guys on the floor was a top trader and sometimes brought his pet chimpanzee to work. I remember his monkey was named Bubbles

  2. I few years ago there was a girl in a trading floor, she used to trade INTL...
and day in day out, she will come early in the morning check news for Intel, get her plan ready, look at INTL charts and then do her trading... and she actually did well... so well in fact that the floor manager didn't bother to tell her that Intel was actually INTC...

    lol..

  5. +1

Especially since every order entry system in the world has both the ticker symbol AND stock name on the MM box or order entry window.

  6. Not to mention INTC does 31 million shares a day and INTL does 60,000. Pretty sure she would have noticed the lack of liquidity :D

  9. Thanks for chiming in, but it wasn't your "joke". Plus this is supposed to be a thread about what really happened at prop firms, not a platform to just make shit up (although that can be funny too.)
