Merlin... you are batting zero, both in individual picks and the S&P in general.

That said..... I will take a look. Remind me tomorrow.

  4. GOOD NEWS!!!

Slowly Bacchus seems to be coming out of his fog... I really think this guy had another mini stroke due to his neurological problems. He made it out this morning without assistance from me and the sling. Which is good news because my back is thrown out from just two days of lifting him. Still has not barked! Wild... Did Bacchus lose his voice?

  5. Hated Billions could not watch a minute. I am too close to the Hedge Fund world to admire that POS show.

Something about Gemstones I can't click with either. Lead guy bothers me. Same routine over and over.

Over the last few days I have explained the inner workings of the market for you.

2> Houses must create a fear of missing out so the steady drum beat of lies.. One after the other proudly profiled on Yahoo. The Up calls the great stock advances ahead of us... what is an investor to do?

I try and teach here and I hope you all are receiving the message: Go Your own way!

  7. Drinking with an Elliot Wave specialist can be head spinning. I wrote down his numbers on a napkin. All I really remember is this is the 4th wave and a down wave. I'll try and find my notes but there was upside in his view after this sell off.

  9. Ned Davis Research strategist says markets have seen a 180-degree swivel

The huge reversal in market sentiment that began in the last week of April and developed momentum in the first half of May was one of the most dramatic on record.

That's according to Tim Hayes, chief global investment strategist at Ned Davis Research, who flagged a chart of the DSI (Daily Sentiment Index) Global Sentiment Index. (A sentiment index numerically represents how optimistic or pessimistic investors feel toward a particular market.) It shows how what he calls a "bipolar market" made the biggest 180-degree swivel from pessimism to optimism in the shortest space of time since the start of data compilation in 2002.

The composite index rose 62 percentage points in just seventeen days after crashing into "extreme pessimism mode" in the aftermath of the April 2 Liberation Day tariff announcement. As the tariff war rhetoric gradually softened and trade deals were mooted, the market's mood abruptly improved.

Hayes expects an "unpredictable" U.S. administration will keep uncertainty around global economics and trade at "unprecedented levels. And speculation should keep anxieties elevated and the market bipolar, herding upward or downward in response to the latest announcements."

Ned Davis Research also recorded the shortest period between triggering its Bear Watch and Rally Watch proprietary trading models that collate various market indicators to assess the likely length and magnitude of market moves. Having triggered a buy signal in the second week of April, it's now approaching a sell signal, but without having quite reached levels commensurate with a clear confirmation.

  10. There is a lot to laugh at with dear round trip Ned... but to cut to the chase... many wonder how do I come up with my unbelievably accurate market calls and precise S&P trigger and sell points...

Well the life of a contrarian works like this. the young guy growing the ugly beard on Bloomberg TV... I like him but he has a penchant for saying annoying pro Trump things at times. They are not outwardly dumb comments like fat Joe on CNBC but he gives credit where perhaps there should be no credit..

So yesterday morning he says: Well folks who bought when Trump said buy stocks are nicely up.... That of course pissed me off so I looked at the date that Trump said that and that is your target I gave for downside. As in round trip.

We have all been in these markets where a year's worth of gains fade to zero. Rather than use those normal timelines -I used the crazy unstable tariff dates as reference.. and so all those gains from Trump's " Buy Stocks " pronouncements are in the garbage bin.
