Wrong MEG. MEG Energy is MEG on the TSX not on the main listing on NYSE. Oil producers are a really good short term play but you have to be alert to wild swings in Oil. I rebought Tamarack when it broke the $5 Cdn level. Baytex I added a lot of shares on a gamble that Trump would do something ( and something I can take profits on if it's a short lived trade ). MEG Energy and Athabaska Oil I have been trading them but holding into this weekend. I still have MER ( Africa Oil ) and some Lotus Creek that are legacy bad trades I was hoping for a pop to exit. Close to giving up then the war hit. Whitecap I have a half position never does much lately. CEU looks interesting slow mover but profitable and well off old highs. I got out of Ensign Energy too early ( don't want to chase this one it's high risk ) and Precision Drilling is something I should check into again I used to trade it. All the Nat Gas companies ( eg Nuvista ) and Whitecap are slow plodders but they are all up significantly over several months.
