Just came across this from last Thursday:-

    (Bloomberg)

Figma shares jumped 250% in their public debut after the design software maker and some of its shareholders raised $1.2 billion in an initial public offering. Shares of the San Francisco-based firm closed at $115.50 on Thursday in New York, more than tripling the IPO price of $33. The trading gives Figma the largest first-day jump in at least three decades for a US-traded company raising more than $1 billion, data compiled by Bloomberg show.

Figma is used to design web and mobile application interfaces. It has expanded its suite of products in an attempt to be more useful for software development and general workplace collaboration. Like many software firms, Figma charges clients based on the number of users and the kind of seat those users have. It added Dev Mode to the platform in 2023 to enable closer collaboration with developers, and has more recently incorporated AI technology into many of its own tools.

  4. Hello Arnie! --: This Blade it came out when the SPAC's were running and I'm slightly ashamed to say I was all caught up in that SPAC mania. And so with BLDE as I remember it I initially made 25% or so then I got involved at $10 where I thought it would hold the old SPAC price and I got smoked. I prob jumped out at $8 something so my initial 25% gain was pretty much reduced to 5%.

Luckily back involved at $3.70 but yikes. JOBY is up 20% they LOVE the deal we should be up more. Like 40%.

But then again I believe in UFO's.

  5. I bought 250 Disney today with Big Pete for my son's account.

  7. In a note to clients titled "Concerning news from the BLS," JPMorgan chief US economist Michael Feroli wrote that the removal of the agency's commissioner creates "risks to the conduct of monetary policy, to financial stability, and to the economic outlook."

"The risk of politicizing the data collection process should not be overlooked," Feroli wrote. "To borrow from the soft-landing analogy, having a flawed instrument panel can be just as dangerous as having an obediently partisan pilot."

  9. Everyone seems to be taking out protection for seasonal reasons. I just think these tariffs are going to look worse and worse. I could be wrong but I know people affected. One girl it all worked out, she's going to have her stuff made in Japan but if you don't have contacts you are going to get ruined.

I spent Sunday watching the Crows again and I didn't learn as much.
Then a huge Peregrine Falcon flew over. Much respect. What a bird. Six foot+ wingspan.
just huge. We have a baby bunny on the property... I fear for him.
