The attempted save of the market today failed. And I will tell you EXACTLY why. The idea is always to confuse you and make you think there is some grand plan when there is none. It's emperor has no clothes time. With everyone freaking out over the tariffs first they babble about car's having a month grace period and when that doesn't move the needle they send out that disgusting liar. He was on TV today with Becky. This man I have to say if you could pick the single most disgusting version of a man to have to sleep with (this is from a women's point of view) this is the guy; he is pathetic. Really the worst kind of disgusting and that's just his looks, the lies that's what Becky catches him on.. and in a subtle way today he tried to lie again or shade the truth and our girl caught him again... She is so much smarter than this dolt./ The relief on tariffs were going to be wider spread to all companies that comply with yada yada.. and then Becky asked forever, for a year or just for a month.. Stammer, stammer, just for a month. The market knows it cannot trust these guys. Do you? So now we are in an interesting position. We have no Trump save of the market that will be believed... and at some point if we go low enough Trump will just write us off as a bit of dead matter under his grand ambitions. It's a vulnerable feeling not having protection. Did I screw up today? Probably. Now I have 100% stocks no bonds and $1mil cash. I am completely exposed to any downside from here in a big way.
It did squeeze up from $100 to $104, then it crashed to $80 on earnings. Nice bounce today though. $85 now.
Van this feels to me like the bottom. Nothing to back that up nor will Trump ever stop so this can just go on and on and on. But the action feels like a washout.
