Yeah, except when the subject of registering for the Selective Service comes up... then they all turn into June Cleaver.

  2. Who pays for the six months leave? If that's an employer paid benefit, no problem. If it's tax dollars, problem. And why is this leave limited to women only? The father should be eligible too.

There is a little difference in strain on father body vs mother's body, plus there is this little procedure called birth. You know no biggie. Then many moms breast feed.

I suggest you open up biology book on difference between men and women.

UK moms gets 9 months, most of Western world also about the same. US moms should be treated the same. 6 weeks is a joke.

  4. Some of us live in states where the libs have burned and criminalized the publication of any biology books that suggest differences between men and women. It is all just a choice. No real differences.

  5. I think the Left "gets it"... they just don't care.

They will support ANYTHING, ANYBODY, ANY ATROCITY... so long as it garners a vote for their side.

In the US - My wife had 6 weeks off. She could have taken more but she’s no pussy. Then back to work.
I worked from home at the time so I took a few weeks off myself and then hired a nanny when I couldn’t do both. No big deal.

My friends who live in Canada and work for the government - they get like 12 months or something insane. Even private companies offer paternity leave. LOL.

It’s shocking to me that productivity is so high in life-work balance countries like in Scandinavia though I assume that’s more to do with other factors.

US productivity to me has always been unmatched. Few are as diligent as Americans, to me.

  7. This forum has already been down a similar path before. It's a bit of a conundrum, but you may have something there.

The worst thing that anyone can do is alienate people by regarding them as freaks and marginalizing them because they're not like "the rest of us." That is the very definition of bigotry; thinking we have a whole swath of people figured out and concluding that they are lesser.

A little empathy can go a long way in arriving at a suitable solution. These are people, after all. There have been adjustment pains and learning curves on both sides whenever minorities of one kind or another were integrated into larger groups. This is not that different, although perhaps a bit more challenging on some levels.

Sympathize with these mentally disturbed individuals...Pity them...

    Don't empathize....How can you?
How can you put yourself in the shoes of someone who has a mental problem where they think they belong to a different biological sex...??
    It's...INSANE...
