Lol guys, and yeah lightning fast internet. Colorado springs rated in top 10 best cities in the us. Bought a 4000sft home in best part of town for 290k 18yrs ago and now its worth 560k. Which wouldn't buy squat in cali. Great people and scenery. No drama..
I'll throw a couple out from our last vacation, 2015 to England for the youngest and his team to train in England. The weather was in general horrible, not much beautiful scenery, but cool sites to visit. A game in the lovely weather, I think the winds were running about 20mph, steady. One of the big dork celebrating his goal, and Chelsea vs. Stoke City. The game was fantastic, and the fans were hilarious. The security for the game was a level above what we have.
This was a month ago Plymouth/Cape cod, the last day of summer. Now that the idiots died off in Florida, in 10 days I will post from Ft. Myers/Sanibel.
I live in SE MA, I could have come out there to hook up with you and had a beer. Next time let me know.
Will do, I really liked the late summer atmosphere (no kids, still warm weather). On the way up we stayed in this bed and breakfast, built in 1872. https://www.thebevinhouse.com The toilette was an original* Crapper, made by the Thomas Crapper company. I learnt something that day! *maybe not, you can buy a replica of it for $700
Just got back from the South West Florida tour. I was disappointed by Sanibel and Marco islands, but really liked Anna Maria, Manasota key and Lover's Key. Favorite city was Naples. We arrived after a big storm so the beaches were full of shells, I have never seen this many. We even saw a sunk sailing ship. The most interesting thing we found was a pink blob that looked like a pig's tongue. It turned out to be sea pork. https://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/what-is-sea-pork-blob Here is a tranquil sunset from North Naples:
