Well, I called Esignal this morning to ask about the $39.00 Tahoe Charts forex package. It's the real deal, as I'd already discovered by doing a search on back threads here. But there's a hitch - at that price, you don't get a DDE link. Tahoe Charts with DDE link is $135.00 a month. That's only slightly less than Esignal itself, which goes for $154.00 a month.
Thats how I learned about the delay in forex data was from FutureSource. I kept seeing this 10-20 pip lag between my brokers quotes and FutureSource, the sales rep informed me the data is compiled from over 200 sources (banks), every 20-30 seconds it is updated. Unless you are using your brokers feed for quotes, their will always be a discrepancy. And quite frankly I cant see how, with your experience you never noticed such a thing.
chaos, i have esignal subscription (futures delayed +forex real time + YM and some indexes real time) for $146.65. i'll check tahoechart for one month, if it's ok i will switch. may i ask you? why do you need DDE link?
The data which is updated every 20-30 seconds is not real time data. Correct. This is a nature of Forex market only. Can this make any influence on someone trading? My opinionâ¦NO, but I donât want to go into details on it. Try Esignal and then we can return to this subject again, if you will still see the lag. -)
