Have all the anti-gun-rights twits finished starting new threads?

There are several posters here, like Lucrum, Trader666, Tsing, Phoenix ..., that think the world is there to get them. The reality the world does not really care about them. They leave in fear of some catastrophy and prep insanely to live through it. No argument will ever convince them to change their views. The sad irony is that if they are right and some catastrophy does hit us, all their preparations will not be enough. One needs to operate in 100s of millions in order to built something's that will give him a decent chance to withstand the catastrophe.

The rest of us just go on and enjoy our lives, while taking reasonable precautions.

You presume too much. Not the world, just the bad guys in the world.
I agree, now if only I could get the world to stop telling me what to do
You mean "live" in fear? While I do own several firearms and several hundred rounds of ammo I'm hardly "prepping" for the end of the world. And Phoenix doesn't even own a firearm.
And there IS an argument that would change YOUR views? Please, do tell.
I assume this means you are the self appointed arbiter of what is and isn't reasonable?

How lucky for us that you've graced us with your infinite wisdom.

Why every time I express my, and I again repeat only my, opinion, I am being called an arbiter and the like. I wonder why??? This is a public discussion, and everyone is expressing their views. Please show me at least one instance where I said my views are the absolute truth and all need to adhere to them.

Reasonable, common sense laws, is not the world telling you what to do, it it just how the societies functions. In order for 100's of millions to peacefully coexist, rules and laws are required, I hope you understand this.

  4. You fucking idiot,

Reminds me of that philosophical hillbilly roommate I had while in the infantry.

They would always start off a nuclear biological survival training exercise with "In order to survive a nuclear or biological environment...".

My roommate : Hey sarge I got a question "Who wants to survive in a nuclear /biological environment ?"

Later on they kinda glossed over the fact that full mopp level 4 gear was only designed to protect you for six hours anyway.

So unless we were talking about an extremely local event, survival at best was 6 hrs. Everybody with an IQ over room temperature knew those special disinfection/contamination control units didn't and still don't exist in practicality.

  5. Does not it strike you as odd that pro gun people here frequently write the posts filled with most rage? And we are supposed to feel comfortable with them owning guns?

  6. Quite frankly. I'm completely unconcerned about "your COMFORT" or what you find "comfortable".

No, but it does strike me as odd that the anti-gun people here frequently make up facts or draw conclusions in the absence of facts. But then that is how liberals, like yourself, promote their causes.

Very well noted. When they have no arguments, the insults is the only thing that is left. Almost every thread where I participated one of them starts insulting me. I find it hilarious, they just do not realize that they make fools out of themselves.
