EXACTLY why so many of us oppose eroding the second amendment ever more.
You have a source for that? In any case, armed robberies are hardly the only crimes committed with guns and other weapons.

Depends entirely on the situation. It's easy for you to rationalize I wouldn't have a chance so why bother carrying at all.

1)There are plenty of other scenarios where I could easily use my pistol to defend myself. I'm not going to leave it at home because I MIGHT not be able to use it in some of those scenarios.

2)IF in my take on the situation, I felt I could. I'd make like I'm reaching for my wallet and pull out my .45 instead, either we'll both go down in a blaze of muzzle flashes or more likely the would be robber will flee. I say more likely because the stats indicate this happens far more often than not. You've said yourself repeatedly, they want my money. They don't want to die getting it.

3)As much as I'd love to in a perfect world. It's very unlikely I'd shoot someone as they were fleeing. Even if they just robbed me. Generally speaking it's either outright not allowed or at the very least it would open yourself up to prosecution.
(Defense lawyers generally charge a lot more than what I carry in cash.)

LOL Maybe that was a mistake. You should have taken more math and science classes to give you a more logical mind.

But AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE we are protected by the Constitution from over reaching zealots like yourself who would make our decisions about what weapons we should have or not have. C'est la vie.

We all know that no one on the left ever made pictures of Bush looking like hitler when he was in charge.

Drawing pictures of presidents with hitler staches is nothing new, it just happens to be a little bit more accurate in Obama's case.

You are exactly right, the legal fees in any case will be huge. I dealt with attorneys and $300 per hour adds up to a lot quickly.

I am glad to hear that you are reasonable adult who would not risk your own life over few hundreds. Not everyone is like that.

Sure, there are situation where gun would have helped, but the probability of that happening depend of where you live. I have been living in a good area of NYC for a long time, and never needed a gun.

You make assumptions about me without knowing anything.

The laws will be changed, to which extent, who knows.

How do you feel about registering you gun(s) in a national data base, and what is the reason behind your answer?

    Just what you professed.

I don't think this crap is going anywhere despite your Great Leader saying it will happen this month. Maybe the 30 round mag will be banned but there are plenty to purchase that are already out there and grandfathered until this law is also overturned or removed through legislation in a few years.

You might as well get used to the fact that significant changes are NOT coming. You are just whistling in the wind along with your other anti-gun buddies.

I travel all over the continental US and have never needed a gun yet. But then I haven't needed my life insurance policy yet either. But I keep paying the premiums just the same. (carrying for when I might need it)
