Yes ... under my old ET handle FXforex. GOOG - Earnings this Thursday - Buy OTM weekly calls on Thursday Bought at $2.95 Sold at $50.40 Left $2000.00 on the table, the options expired at about $70.00 All posted in real-time to ET. RE: IB I closed my IB account and kept my BMO Investorline account because it's linked to my regular bank account with them. Commissions are $9.95 plus $1.25 per contract. If I open a second account it would be with TD Ameritrade.
Open sometime on Tuesday before earnings, close after earnings. You meant to close the following day, but you're intentionally vague as to leave all pertinent info out... no entry, no strike, no exit. Timing is everything. You take credit for a position which you don't have. All took at least a 50% haircut the following day with the shares up.
Yep, there was no trade posted = no trade. QQQ was the first choice so it's even ambiguous as to which UL would have been traded.
For my Heads up - threads I have decided not to post live entries, strikes or exits. Posting live trades can be distracting for me. The intent of this thread was to bring attention and discussion to up-coming earnings with trades that I might consider based on my views of the stock. In this case AAPL. The 50% drop in the OTM calls is nothing when weekly options are taken into consideration - especially during earnings. The recovery after earnings of those calls was incredible, AAPL didn't really bounce that much going into expiration.
Right, posting a fill at a price and time would be too distracting, but it doesn't stop from starting a few threads a week. You stated to get out after earnings. You meant the day after the report, but can ostensibly mean any time to expiration, which is why you're worthless.
In more polite terms: While people may respect your posts and calls, it is difficult to ascertain what exactly you are doing unless you post some hard #s. Obviously no one expects a live feed on your positions, but a simple 'hey I bought the x strikes for x amount at x expiration' would be helpful, especially for those trying to follow your lead.
I'm not polite to destriero? Let me give you some advice as far as destriero is concerned. Make sure your ET handle, contact info and posts you make can not be traced back to your real identity. You might think cosying up to destriero is fine - and in 99% of the time it's safe to do so. BUT ..... If you end up on the wrong side of him he might STALK you outside of ET. He has stalked before and most likely will again. I suggest you read this convexx aka destriero thread: ET has a cyber stalker and it alias is convexx Once again ..... tread carefully around destriero.
Some of us will recall the GOOG directional trade that you posted AH... you were bullish and posted a long. You waited for GOOG to report and edited your post within the edit-window to bearish (when the stock dropped $60). You were caught by a few regulars, newwurldmn, et al. Yeah, that's transparency. Re: stalking. There are NO lengths to which I will not go to protect my family, whom were being stalked online by that jagoff.
