Ohh yeah, you have no argument so you correct spelling. I am still going to celebrate the dominance of the USA over Canada.
Quite seriously Americans like you are laughing stocks in Canada. A peculiar combination of ignorance and ego. You obviously know almost nothing about Canada. If you are concerned about climate change and pollution well clean your shit up to Canada's standards first then we can talk.
No one cares what archaic Canadians think in the about anything. You have no standing on the world stage and you do not qualify as a 1st World Country. Your leader is a monarch. Its time to get out of the 17th century Canada. Second, what is this high standard in Canada that you speak of. You have no valid data. BTW, its literally been decades since Canada had the Stanley Cup. Hockey barely registers as a sport in the US but it is your national past time, and you get smoked, year in and year out. Rear Ender, this socialist agenda fails everywhere it is tried. Why should anyone listen to your nonsense?
You're clearly like to whine a lot. I'll light another fire for ya . I have a feeling you have PTSD but that doesn't excuse your disrespectful behavior. The Canadian troops in WW2 certainly didn't fight to protect your ability to act in this way. All this conspiracy shit you believe in is dragging down your country. Who the hell cares if a Canadian team wins the Stanley Cup the winning team will be stacked with Canadians ( any team ). We are still winning more international hockey titles then any other country particularly when the best play ( eg the Olympics ). Are you seriously bringing up hockey or any winter sport as an example of American exceptionalism ? Come on now such a weak argument it's comical. Our young people are just killing it these days in global business including US based firms. I have numerous extended family members taking really nice jobs from Americans in US based firms. My daughter probably draws a salary right now higher then 99+% of Americans. That's what we Canadians do we compete on a global scale and we do it well. Getting easier these days because frankly the US is producing far too many mediocre young people right now. You know, people who whine a lot like you or think they are super special because they have a liberal arts degree ( or because they are American like that matters ). Your country continues to excel mostly because of immigrants. So is ours but I know that concept will confuse that narrow mind of yours. Canada is a more progressive nation right now then the US. There are parts of the US that are progressive and I hear excellent but you also have many states regressing to the 1950s. Archaic social policies, frequent mass shootings, growing racism, unreal abortion bans, disrespect of the gay community, lowering education standards, poverty rates that are unacceptable in a supposed first world nation. None of this is good.
Someone must be a complete idiot and/or know nothing about today's NHL Hockey that it is dominated by foreign hockey players playing, being stars and fan favorites on any NHL hockey team especially the two teams in the current Stanley Cup for Florida Panthers & Las Vegas Golden Knights. What dumbass doesn't understand the statistics of the Nationality of the players in the NHL ??? Further, any serious NHL Hockey fan would know that traditionally Canadian Hockey players at...collegiate level...most would attend college in the United States on scholarship after heavy recruiting from American universities. Yet, that trend is slowly changing due to the horrible political environment in the United States since President Trump's years... Canadians are choosing to play hockey at Canadian universities prior to being drafted into to an NHL Hockey team...a trend change of a whopping 57%. With that said, as a citizen of both countries and a proud veteran of the United States Armed Forces...the Canadians not only historically supported the Americans during war or peacekeeping missions... The Canadians better managed their resources while suffering more friendly-fire casualties from from the Americans than vice versa. As for Air Quality...the air that we breathe... The United States is ranked 99th in polluting its air while Canada is ranked 111th (cleaner air) even though...currently...the United States is getting a big dose wildfire smoke from Canada into many of the U.S. northern cities, especially on the east coast. Ironically, most of the current wildfire smoke going to the U.S...its from provinces that tend to vote not liberal. Why is Canada burning? Warm and dry conditions are like kindling for wildfires. Much of Canada, like the rest of North America, has experienced record heat and drought recently as climate change continues to warm the planet. "The fires season is also lasting longer now because of climate change. Spring is coming weeks earlier and fall is coming weeks later. More time for the fires and grasslands to burn," Edward Struzik, a fellow at Queen's Institute for Energy and Environmental Policy at Queen's University in Canada and author of "Dark Days at Noon, The Future of Fire" told CBS News. In 2021, Canada experienced its hottest day ever when Lytton, British Columbia hit 49.6 degrees Celsius, 121 degrees Fahrenheit, smashing the previous record of 113 degrees. It tied California's Death Valley as the hottest place in North America that day. In the Canadian prairies of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba — where fires now rage — drought has hit particularly hard. According to the Canada Drought Monitor, all 10 provinces are experiencing abnormal dryness, moderate or severe drought. wrbtrader
Americans unfortunately are testing Canadian's patience as an ally in recent years. The jokers on here post all sorts of bs like we don't have military resources but taxpayers here have spent a lot of money supporting Ukraine now, in Afghanistan, and peace keeping elsewhere. We also were a very important part of the early Nuclear research that led to the first A bombs ( not that I think they should have been used ). We have that expertise since the 1940s. If the world scene changes Canada can shift a lot of resources to military applications fairly quickly. We are not a poor nation. The hope would be for the sake of everyone ( including some Americans who feel insulated from the horrors of war ) this won't ever be necessary.
