It is very interesting that over the entire history of the NYSE and NAZ and AMeX, they never found a company that wanted to be listed, that did not fit one of those single letters. A quirk of the naming conventions I guess.
No they come and go. The most recent I think was Z. Zillow. There used to be a Q, I forget what it was though. I wonder how you get those. Is it like a vanity tag (license plate)?
